Ferrari 412i GT 5.0 V12 340pk 1990, K-788-PV
The Ferrari 412i is part of a model line that began with the 365 GT4 2+2 and continued with the Ferrari 400. The Ferrari 412 followed in 1985. These models are V12 2+2 grand tourers that are closely related in terms of technology and construction. They share the same basic body, chassis, and engine, which were further refined over the years.
As was customary with Ferrari models from that period, the model designation refers to the displacement per cylinder in cubic centimeters. The Ferrari 400 was the first Ferrari model available with an automatic transmission. In 1979, it was succeeded by the 400 i, equipped with fuel injection. The 412 was produced from 1985 to 1989, marking the end of Ferrari’s longest-running model series.
The powertrain consists of a 4,944 cc V12 engine, producing 340 pk. This engine emphasizes smoothness and torque, in keeping with the car’s character as a grand tourer. The V12 in the 412i is also considered the last Ferrari engine from the Colombo series to be installed in a production model.
The example offered here is finished in anthracite gray metallic with a burgundy red leather/Alcantara interior. Limited information is available regarding this car’s history. Based on the available data, it appears to be one of the last 412s produced, as production ended in 1989 and this example was registered in April 1990. As far as can be ascertained, the car was delivered new in Japan and arrived in the Netherlands in 2021. According to the available documentation, various repairs have been carried out since then to bring the car back up to technical standard.

Notes
As mentioned, only limited historical information is available for this car. Paint thickness measurements indicate that the car has been repainted in the past. On the front end, the front fenders, and the left front door, localized paint movement is visible in the form of small cracks. Additionally, there is a crack in the rear window.
This example is equipped with a set of Koenig alloy wheels, likely manufactured by Speedline. This set was installed because the original TRX tires are not available, or are only available in very limited quantities via special order.
